POTTERVILLE, Mich. (WILX) - Students in Potterville were able to get a head start on reading.
Potterville Public Schools held a “Book Blast” celebration for the community. The fundraiser helped provide books to all district students at no cost.
The initiative aims to get students interested in reading at a young age. Since its inception, over four million books have been distributed.
The principal of Potterville Elementary School says the initiative is an effort to introduce students to the world of reading at a young age.
